Baby’s First Teddy!

I’ve been obsessed with Jellycat toys for kids for a few years now, I’m pretty sure our niece has been the recipient of a few because I just can’t help myself and giving them to our dogs would be throwing money down the drain. (A stuffed toy lasts mere minutes in our house.) If you are wondering how I even know enough about children’s toys to have a favorite…it’s because they sell them at Anthropologie! And you know I am a sucker for anything Anthro!  They are so soft and perfectly cuddly, not to mention adorable and thankfully not modeled after cartoon characters! ( I’m not even a mom yet and I can already tell you that I am not a fan of all the cartoon character and such things for kids, I prefer the classic animals and timeless stuff, in case you were wondering! )

So, when we found out we were having a baby of our own, I was beyond excited to get to actually buy a Jellycat toy of our own! I told the spouse we had to wait until we were in the safe zone and then we would pick out the perfect toy for our baby. Shortly thereafter, that turned into waiting to find out what we were having, so we waited a bit longer. But, once we found out…I was determined to find the perfect one for Baby Boy Miller.

Meet Baby’s first teddy bear!

Yup, we went with the classic choice. They have so many adorable animals to choose from that my head was spinning, but I figured every little boy need’s his first teddy bear and I am so happy with our choice! Now, I just can’t wait to give it to him! Hurry up and cook, baby boy, we’ve got toys to give you (and mommy has wine to drink!), let’d do this!

Hi!! My girlfriend got my son this bear at my baby shower. He is 16 months old now and this bear does not leave his side! I am looking for a new one just in case, but I can’t find this one anywhere. It isn’t on the Anthropologie site and there isn’t a store nearby. Do you happen to know the name of the bear? Your site is the only place I have found it. Help!! :)
