Destination Wedding: Jamie & Kevin’s Costa Rica Welcome Party

I couldn’t be more excited for what is coming to the blog this week! Because today is the first of three posts from Jamie and Kevin’s Costa Rica Wedding Weekend! Yes, three! You see, not only did Jamie and Kevin have the most perfect beach wedding, but they also created an entire weekend of festivities and fun for their families to take part in. And I was lucky enough to get to take part in all of it!

The first of their wedding festivities was a sunset Costa Rica Welcome Party at La Mariposa Hotel in Manuel Antonio, Quepos! Such a great way to welcome all their guests, sipping tropical cocktails, eating delicious food, and having a good time, all the while watching the most beautiful sunset over the ocean! Not to mention, such a magical end to the evening, sending sky lanterns into the night!

As soon as the sun was set, Jamie pulled out dozens of paper sky lanterns to light up the night with! I just love the magical softness of this photo, one of my favorites!

Everyone got in on the fun! Jamie and Kevin’s families, friends, the hotel staff, and even a vacationing couple at the hotel that the ever-sweet Jamie asked to join in on the fun.
