It only took him a year, but finally our not-so-little goldendoodle has figured out the fun found in doggie toys! It may seem trivial and silly to everyone else in the world, but it is pretty darn exciting to me. Not to mention, it just might be the cutest thing in the world! (To us, at least!) I mean, up until recently he has never had any reaction to toys or balls. Never felt inclined to chase or fetch a ball. Never felt the urge to play with a squeaky toy. Nothing! But, suddenly, one day he just started pushing a ball around and pouncing on it as it rolled away. (SO cute!) And he hasn’t looked back since! Doppler has discovered the ball, folks! He will even take his ball to bed with him on some nights, just so it is close by in case he gets the sudden urge to play.

HA! He’s such a big baby! I love it. Goose also has no interest in toys. If we play fetch….he runs to the ball…sniffs…it and runs back. He’s special.

The exact same thing happened with Chloe when we were at my parent’s a week or so ago! They had a tennis ball laying around and she freaked out! She was all over the place with it. So cute!
