Beautiful flowers every where you turn. A refreshing breeze across the Chicago Botanic pond. Yummy treats and finger sandwhiches. Delicious Pimm’s cups and tea for days. Fabulous hats on every lady there. And a totally adorable couple that I loved within minutes of meeting them! Elizabeth and Peter’s Traditional English Tea Reception at the Chicago Botanic Garden was just perfect!

The reception was so beautifully set and coordinated by the lovely Sharokina of CityGirl Weddings & Events! It was such a pleasure to work with her for the day! Can’t want to do it again soon!

Elizabeth and Peter kept admiring these pretty purple pom flowers, so I knew it was the perfect spot to showcase their wedding bands.
As guests began to arrive in their gorgeous hats the tea sandwhichs were brought out and the musicians began to play.
I had the best time admiring all the fabuolous hats! And now I am determind to host my own traditional tea party one day, if only for the fun fashion! So, get your hats ready girls!
