Handwritten Love

Sure, I like sparkles, pretty things, and wonderful gifts wrapped in darling bows (Don’t we all?!), but there is truly nothing I love more than a handwritten note. On my birthday or our anniversary, I always look forward to the heartfelt messages written inside the cards from my spouse. Those are my favorite part! (It’s probably has something to do with the fact that one of my love languages is words of affirmation…) I save every handwritten note and card I receive!

The fact that someone has taken the time to think about and write out how they want to celebrate you, congratulate you, or thank you just fills my heart. Especially in a digital age, when its much faster and easier to just shoot someone a text or an email! I may have come to the dark side by reading books on my iPad and leaving my long treasured paper books behind, but I don’t think I will ever give up on handwritten notes. They are just too special and thoughtful. And when I receive a handwritten thank you from a client, my heart is just so full to be able to do what I love and work with amazing couples who take the time out to appreciate the work that I do. It makes my day (or more like my week!) in more words than I can ever say! My friends, you have found the way to my heart with your handwritten kindness, thank you!
