I know everyone is already talking crazy Christmas talk, but I will remain in Fall until after Thanksgiving, thank you very much! So, in efforts to slow down and live in the moment, we recently trekked out to Kuiper’s Family Farm for some fall fun! It is one of our yearly traditions to spend a day at Kuiper’s picking pumpkins and apples galore. A tradition I hope we will keep going for years to come, so we can bring our future kiddies in on it. I feel like a kid, myself, as I find myself skipping through the pumpkins and asking, “What about this one?! Or this one?!”
From baby pumpkins to huge hay bales, we got it all!

We didn’t realize until we got to the parking lot, after our day of fun, that we never got a photo together! So, we had to pull the requisite hold out the camera in front of you and hope for the best move.
Then the real fun began…trying to fit all our goodies into the car! That was a bit of a challenge! But, needless to say, K managed to load it all up perfectly and we were good to go!
When we got home, we unloaded our hay bales and pumpkin haul into the yard for the puppies to explore. Though Maybe May was more interested in giving kisses than posing on a hay bale.
Doppler took interest in the hay bales, by pulling straw out all over the yard to chew on and essentially, drive me crazy, for the following weeks.
Needless, to say, our fall fun adventure left us stocked and ready for the fall festivities we had planned this past month. (More on that to come!) And a day away from responsibilities to have fun together and enjoy the season, was the best fall treat I could have ever asked for.
