My Pops, The Giver

Sadly, this fathers day I was unable to spend the day with my pops (I’m in Costa Rica, y’all!), but thankfully I had my better half, back at home, to fill in for me! Which makes me realize just how lucky I am to have married someone who loves my pops just as much as I do! Because my pops is truly such an amazing man and he really deserves all the father’s day hoopla.

I am so unbelievably thankful for all that he has done for me and all that he continues to do for me, every single day! You see, he is one of those fathers who gives, gives, and just keeps on giving. In totally huge ways…like officiating our wedding, while also putting hours of sweat and work into making our wedding space as amazing as can be right up until we walked down the aisle. And even in all the little ways…like bringing soup when one of us in sick or fixing lamps in our house when they are broken. The giving never stops. And the words ‘thank you’ seem so small in comparison. They don’t feel like nearly enough for all that he does! But, thank you anyway Pops!

Thank you for always telling me to do what I love and follow my dreams, no matter how big! Thank you for being always being there. Thank you for your endless love and support. Thank you for being you…because YOU…are the best pops there is! Thank you! I love you.
