Everybody is all up and arms about the big events going down in our country right now….the RNC and the DNC, but really I think the one most worthy of talking (and blogging) about would be NYFW! I mean, forget the Olympics, amazing designers from all over the world are in New York right now, showcasing their new designs for Spring 2013. Way more exciting, right?! And I find myself even more excited than usual for the spring looks this year, seeing as the more time that goes by, the less I fit this growing baby belly into my cute clothes and am stuck feeling super limited in my fashion choices. But by the Spring, we will have our precious baby and mommy can start getting back to (or at least trying to) her much more fashionable attire! Yay!
So, you better believe I am stalking all my favorite fashion bloggers’ twitter and instagram feeds to get by the minute sneak peeks of all the fashion goodness before it hits the blogs. And it is safe to say that for the next few days you can find me glued to my computer watching the LIVE runway feeds. Yes, live! You almost feel like you are there…you get to see all the fabulous people in their seats chatting before the show starts, then the lights go low, and the fashion magic starts! (They even have a schedule of the shows, so you can pop in and out to only watch the shows you really want to see!) I’m pretty addicted, I keep the YouTube feed up nearly all day…everyday, of fashion week. And daydream of the day that I will get those coveted invitations to fashion week! A pipe dream, for sure, but I’m just going to keep dreaming! What I wouldn’t give to be front row at all the shows! Sitting next to my BFF, Rachel Zoe, of course!
