Wedding Bells: Jill & John: Joliet Union Station

I have been so very excited to share Jill and John’s Joliet Union Station wedding for weeks, the suspense has been killing me! And now that this gorgeous pair is back from their honeymoon, here it is! In all it’s glory! Handsome West Point boys in their dress blues. A breathtaking bride with a fabulous gown. Bridesmaids in mismatched blush pink dresses that were all kinds of perfection. A stunning couple, who make each other smile constantly. A cake cutting with an actual West Point saber sword! And a party that wouldn’t quit! This is definitely a day Jill and John will never forget!

First up, the boys getting snazzy in their dress blues and having a good time…

I was so unbelievably lucky to have one of my favorite people on board, Emilia, second shooting Jill and John’s wedding, hanging out with the groomsmen and just generally being awesome! She was so beyond amazing the entire day, not even letting a bee sting stop her! (I mean…just look at this unbelievable shot of hers!!! I think I died a little when I saw it!)

And the bride getting gorgeous!

I could photograph their rings all day long!

The breathtaking bride ready to meet her groom at the church!John was beaming and ready to marry his bride! They did it!!!The new Mr. and Mrs!The boys, another fantastic capture by the fabulous Emilia!

These might be some of my favorite photos I took of the girls all day! THIS is how you do pink bridesmaid dresses, people! Total mismatched perfection!Getting in those last few kisses before it was time to party! And let me tell you, this group knew how to party!Hello beautiful venue and oh-so-perfect details!Jill and John are so excited to continue to travel the world together, all of their details had a vintage travel touch to them…The epic West Point saber with their amazing wedding rings and John’s West Point stunner ring!It is safe to say this is the coolest cake cutting I have ever witnessed! And John was pretty excited to wield that thing! After some emotional dances, the crowd hit the dance floor and were ready to go!Who knew those military boys would be the ones tearing up the dance floor with their antics all night long?! Loved it!And you know it’s a great party, when the bride and groom actually dance the night away too!

Congrats Jill & John! I hope your honeymoon was nothing short of amazing and you have many more travel adventures ahead of you!

I am kind of a sucker for a groom in uniform. These are so lovely. I LOVE the one of the two of them kneeling in the church and they both have the biggest smiles.
