Behind the Scenes: Shooting Details

While I spend the day putting the finishing touches on Jill and John’s full wedding blog for tomorrow, I thought I would share a tiny glimpse into the behind the scenes of shooting a wedding. Or simply put…what I look like when I’m working! (Thanks to the ever-amazing Emilia who captured the photo of me working on the below ring shot!)

I love when my second shooters get some photos of me working because it is so fun to see what it looks like when I’m working and oblivious to the world, or just getting that perfect shot! And getting to see a behind the scenes photo with the final image you were taking at that very moment, right next to it, is pretty neat. Or maybe I’m just a photo geek and that is only cool to me…oh well! Here I am using my 105mm lens to capture Jill and John’s rings on the West Point saber used to cut the cake. So very cool!

You are the best at taking “in action” shots! Love them! And love that ring shot!
