What I’m Wearing: Fall Dreaming

I am utterly and completely on cloud 9 today! I don’t want to jinx it or anything, but I am pretty sure that Fall just hit Chicago! That’s right! I am talking windows open, cool breezes, football on the television, and boots on my feet! It was like all my wishful thinking of an early fall paid off all on the same day! My Frye boots arrived, the temps fell enough to wear said boots, neighbors were burning leaves giving the air that comforting autumn-y smell, and unbeknownst to me…football started! (Pre-football or something…I don’t’ really know or even pay much attention to it, but it is decidedly a fall activity, so I welcome it’s return!) It was all kinds of amazing that I cannot even describe to you. It is going to be a wonderful fall, I can just tell!

So, today I am Fall dreaming! We may not be there just yet to pull out the scarves and cozy thick socks, but you can bet this is what I will be wearing when it is time!

Cardigan: Gap (Soooo many cozy cardigans will be worn this fall. They are a staple in my wardrobe!) Leggings: American Apparel (I like their leggings because they are not super cheap or flimsy, they have some weight to them.) Boots: Frye Melissa Trapunto in Saddle color (LOVE!! My 2012 Frye’s have arrived!) Bag: Proenza Schouler PS1 (Oh, how I have been dreaming PS1 dreams for the past year! Such a perfect bag, in every color!) Pumpkin Spice Latte: Starbucks (Did you expect any less here?) Scarf: Love Quotes in Olive (My favorite scarves, I am pretty sure I will eventually have one in every color!) Watch: Michael Kors (I love me some Michel Kors watches!) Sunglasses: DITA Condor Aviators (My go to sunglasses are always aviators!) Neckace: Heather Hawkins

It’s definitely not the most trendy outfit, but it is just perfect for a typical fall day for me. Cozy, easy, and a little stylish…if I can help it!
